Scarves made by wind

‘Wind Knitting Factory’ is a wind powered knitting machine, which knits sustainable scarves. At the top of the Wind Knitting Factory a large cone of wool feeds slowly into the machine. As the wool is knitted, it steadily grows and extends downwards, where people can see it becoming longer and longer. Occasionally the knitwear gets ‘harvested’ and transformed into scarves, which are labelled with the time and day the wind created the knit. The scarves are available at The Wind Knitting Factory scarf shop.
